One of my advocacies is the use of environment-friendly household essentials. The use of these products will definitely help prevent the pollution of our soils and water sources which are essential to good farming and to our health in general. We have been using products like these in our household whenever possible. Products like these are relatively more expensive but I want to view it as something that is less costly in “real” terms because it is safer to us and the environment. Unfortunately, most groceries do not carry these type of products or maybe I was not looking hard enough.

To my surprise, I recently saw this biodegradable dishwashing liquid concentrate when I was scanning the shelves in the SM Dasmarinas grocery while shopping. I immediately grabbed 5 pieces of 1-liter bottles of the plant-based biodegradable dishwasing concentrate. The dishwashing liquid is marketed as Good Maid BIO and comes in two variants ( the peach and lemon scents) which are packaged in plastic bottles. A 1-liter bottle is sold at P129 which is quite reasonable compared to the competition of the same volume. Good Maid BIO  is “gentle on the hands but tougher on grease”.

The product is imported but I am not sure which company distributes the brand here in the Philippines. I scanned the manufacturer from the net and I found out that the product is from Goodmaid Chemicals Corporation Sdn Bhd Lot 27B, Lorong Bunga Tanjung 3/1, Senawang Industrial Park, Serem

ban, Negeri Sembilan, 70400. MALAYSIA
